Small group workshops of 5 dogs. These sessions are for dogs that have done agility training before, either with me or elsewhere. Please click here for information on my young / new dog workshops.
These are available at 2 locations, Golden Valley near Ripley and Pinxton near Alfreton. Both workshops run slightly differently due to the layout of each venue. Please see below for details.
Golden Valley near Ripley
These workshops take place one Sunday per month.
This is an outdoor grass venue. The paddocks are fully fenced and parking is situated next to the paddocks.
Training will be suited to each dog. There is a full set of equipment available at this venue and some workshops may include work on contact equipment and the weaves.
Dogs will be in the arena alone when training, the other dogs in the group can either be outside the fencing to practice focusing around other dogs or in their vehicles.
Pawz Let Loose Pinxton
These workshops take place one Tuesday evening per month until September then these workshops are every other Tuesday evening.
This is an indoor sand arena. Parking is situated next to the arena.
Due to the size of this venue workshops will mainly focus on handling skills using jumps and tunnels. There will be occasional work on weaves and seesaw skills if this is suitable for each dog.
Dogs will be in the arena one at a time while training, with the other dogs in the group either outside or in their vehicle. As this is an indoor venue dogs will not be able to be ‘ringside’ Handlers are welcome to be inside to watch the session but there is strictly only one dog in the venue at once.
**At the Pinxton venue we may sometimes use the outside secure paddock (pictured) if the weather is suitable. The same rules apply with one dog in the paddock at a time. There is also space outside the paddock for dogs to spectate if you wish.
*A decision will be made on the evening of training as to which area the session will be held in.
If you are interested in either of these workshops please fill out the form below to receive information on the next workshop dates.
