Dog Agility Performance Coaching – In-Person Behaviour & Performance Sessions

In-person dog agility performance coaching sessions designed to improve confidence, consistency, and behaviour in both dog and handler.

These one-to-one sessions focus on the full agility partnership — not just skills, but how behaviour, communication, and decision-making show up under pressure in real training and competition environments.

What These Sessions Are For

These in-person agility coaching sessions are ideal if:

  • Your performance in competition feels different to training
  • You’re experiencing inconsistency or recurring issues
  • Confidence (yours or your dog’s) is affecting results
  • You feel stuck despite putting the work in
  • You want a clearer understanding of your dog’s behaviour in agility

This is not about running courses or repeating sequences — it’s about improving real performance through better understanding.

How It Works

Initial Performance Assessment (75 minutes)
£140

Your first session is a detailed agility performance assessment where we:

  • Explore your current challenges and goals
  • Observe your dog’s behaviour and your handling in real time
  • Identify patterns affecting performance
  • Begin making practical adjustments you can take away

Follow-Up Performance Sessions (60 minutes)
£110

Follow-up sessions focus on:

  • Building on your initial assessment
  • Improving handling, timing, and decision-making
  • Developing confidence and consistency
  • Supporting real-world application in training and competition

Session Frequency

These sessions are designed to support progress over time, not replace regular training.

Most handlers benefit from sessions spaced every 4–8 weeks, allowing time to implement changes before returning for further input.

Important Information

These are not weekly agility training lessons.

They are focused, high-value sessions designed to help you understand and improve your dog agility performance, with time between sessions for implementation.

Who These Sessions Are For

These sessions are best suited to:

  • Agility handlers currently training or competing
  • Those wanting to improve performance, not just skills
  • Handlers open to exploring both dog behaviour and their own impact
  • Those looking for tailored, specialist support

Location

Sessions take place in a private all-weather agility arena in Derbyshire.
