The Ground Zero to Grade 7 Podcast has had an upgrade!

As my work as a Neurodivergent Dog Coach has evolved, I’ve realised just how many agility handlers are quietly navigating the sport with neurodivergent brains — and how rarely those experiences are talked about. That’s why I’ve rebranded to The Dog Agility Unmasked Podcast.
This podcast dives deep into the reality of being a neurodivergent competitor — from training at home and tackling workshops to coping with competition days and everything in between. We’ll explore how neurodivergence shapes our agility journeys, influences our dogs, and impacts the way we think, learn, and connect. And if you’re a trainer, coach, or show organiser, this podcast is for you too — to help you understand how to create environments where neurodivergent handlers feel seen, safe, supported, and set up for success.
All the original Ground Zero to Grade 7 episodes are still available, so you can revisit those conversations and insights anytime. We’ll also continue to talk about the emotional needs of our dogs, especially anxious and sensitive ones — a topic close to my heart. You’ll hear more about how neurodivergent handlers and anxious dogs influence each other, and how we can build partnerships rooted in understanding, compassion, and calm confidence.
About me
and the show
I know first-hand how important it is to get all the pieces in place for agility success! I’ve successfully (and quickly) navigated my way up the grades with dogs who haven’t always been easy to train!
I also know the importance of how you, the handler, feels when training and competing your dog! Agility can be a minefield, but by understanding your role more clearly, having a clear and confident mindset, and by understanding the emotional needs of your dog, the pieces will all fall into place!
In my podcast I give you the knowledge to put all these pieces in place so you and your agility dog can consistently succeed!

Hey! I just listened to your celebrating success podcast and wanted to say how helpful it was! I’m currently in a bit of a mental dip with agility just now and found it really helpful in re-evaluating where we are it and was good to reset my brain! Keep doing what you’re doing- we’ve been listening for a while but only just stalked your insta now😅 Look forward to the next one x

If you’re looking for a dog agility podcast that ticks all the boxes then this is it! It goes far deeper than just skills training. I have been getting so much from listening to each episode. The relationship between my dog and I has grown, both in and out of the ring, and we have been having more success when competing too!
