Recurring monthly membership, with the option to cancel anytime.
Because agility success takes more than just skills!
Agility isn’t just about handling – it’s about understanding your dog, yourself, and the partnership that makes it all work.
The Quest for Success Academy gives you the why’s and the what’s next of agility behaviour. Inside, you’ll find webinars, exercises, and guidance that help you understand your dog’s emotions, improve your own mindset, and build skills that actually stick.
Do you ever feel like you’re doing all the training, showing up to competitions… and still not getting the results you hoped for?
Maybe your dog is anxious, overexcited, or just doesn’t seem to settle at shows.
Maybe you feel overwhelmed, stuck in your own head, or unsure how to move forward.
You’re not alone — and you’re in the right place.
The Quest for Success Academy is a low cost monthly membership designed especially for agility handlers who want to compete (or already are) but are struggling with everything around the handling.
This isn’t your typical agility training space. This is a space for the other pieces of the puzzle that will give you clarity, consistency, confidence, and the results you desire!!
Why Join the Quest for Success Academy?
Not just handling, but behaviour
Most memberships show you what to do with your arms. The Academy helps you understand what’s going on in your dog’s head — and yours!
Not just the what, but the why
We break down why your dog might struggle with focus, why reinforcement doesn’t always land, and why your own nerves might get in the way — so you can make changes that actually stick.
Not just drills, but progress
From one-jump skills and weaves to stop contacts and start-lines, you’ll get foundations taught properly, with guidance and support to move forward whenever you feel stuck.
Not just the dog, but the partnership
Your mindset, your dog’s emotions, and your teamwork matter as much as the skills. The Academy is here to support both sides of the lead.

Why It Works:
Agility isn’t just about teaching skills.
It’s about supporting the relationship, managing emotions, and building confidence on both ends of the lead.
There are plenty of handling memberships out there.
Quest for Success Academy is different.
It’s not about how to teach a blind cross or sequence a course — it’s about what’s really getting in the way of your success, and how to move past it.

“I love Katrina’s ethos with regards to training agility and linking it to dog behaviour and taking the time to piece together all the elements of the jigsaw puzzle in order to paint the best overall picture for both you and your dog to create the ultimate team and connection.
When Katrina announced she was opening her academy I jumped at the chance to join, having really enjoyed being part of Geek Club over lockdown. Katrina is a font of knowledge, she cares deeply about the subject of agility and dog behaviour and it’s fantastic to see her journey with Quest and all her tips and tricks, games and her highs and lows – a wonderful way to learn together.
The academy is kept up to date with webinars, Facebook lives, videos and photos of Quest’s journey, Katrina’s insights, online learning and all things agility. She tailors the academy to it’s members’ needs and takes an interest in each and every individual and their dogs to offer the best guidance and help along the way. Having early access to her 1 to 1 lessons is fantastic; these are the highlight of mine and Pickett’s week and a great link to the information given in the academy.
I can’t thank Katrina enough for her continued support and tuition, the academy is the perfect addition to any agility lover’s journey and an extremely valuable resource which just keeps on giving. You’d be mad to miss it!”

About me:
Having successfully got both my first and second agility dogs to Grade 7 quite quickly, I welcome you join me on my journey with my young dog, Quest!
Quest’s journey and the Academy aren’t just about agility, infact agility plays just a small part in the Academy. I want to teach you all the pieces that most dog training doesn’t teach you! These are the most important bits, and these bits get you results in all areas of life with your dog!
Those who know me, have trained with me before, or have listened to my podcast will know that I train from the dog’s point of view. For me, the dog’s emotional needs and the relationship you create as a team are at the heart of everything!
There is so much more to dog training than just the skills, and if you only focus on the skills, then at some point you will encounter problem behaviour or results that you don’t want!
Going up the grades and achieving grade 7, not once but twice, within 10 days of each other, is an achievement that I am really proud of and it wasn’t done by just training skills!!
The journey with both Milo and Flash involved various training, on things that seem so far removed from actual agility training, but they were the things that mattered when it came to collecting those wins!
The pieces I used to fly up the grades with Milo and Flash didn’t just help their agility performance, they transferred into real life. Owning them and doing the simple day to day things became so much easier as a result of this training.
What better way to help handlers to understand this way of training and to enable them to put the pieces in place with their own dogs, than to follow me on my journey with my young dog Quest!
Social media only shows you highlights of what everyone wants you to see! In Quest to Success, you get access to everything, and I also explain the most important bit – WHY it is happening and what we will do to move forward.
There is even the option for you to receive tailored feedback on your own training!
Handler mindset is also a huge passion of mine, if you have read my book, you will know that I know what it is like to suffer with anxiety. I also know how this affects our dogs and our performance as a team. In the Academy I give you all the tips, tricks and resources I use to help me succeed when training and competing my dogs.
What is it?
The academy is for owners who want to go beyond training just skills. Skills manage behaviour, I want to do more than that. I want to give you all the pieces you need to enable you to have a partnership you are proud of with your dog! If you have trained with me before or follow any of my socials, you will know that I am a massive believer in looking after your dog’s emotional needs along with everything else.
When we understand our individual dogs behaviour and their needs, the training becomes so much easier and success is just a byproduct of the relationship you create together.
I will explain ALL the pieces that go into creating a confident, happy, focused dog who is connected to the handler, who trusts them completely as they work as a team in real life and out there on course.
You will have access to my training videos with explanations on how, what and why I am doing certain things with Quest. As his training and competition journey progresses, so will the content in the academy. It will document the highs, the lows, and explain the behaviour side of why this is all happening.
This isn’t just what the academy is about though – you get so much more!!!
Am I tied in to a subscription?
The first thing I want to say is NO you aren’t tied in!
If you ever wanted to leave, it is simple to cancel your membership and no questions will be asked. It is important to mention though, that if you did leave and decided to rejoin, you would have to join at the price the membership is at the time of rejoining.
Why invest in the Academy?
Quest hasn’t been an easy dog to train. We got him at the end of the lockdown resulting in him really struggling with being confident around people. He suffers with anxiety in certain situations and can find people scary.
He also found the world super exciting, so exciting that he wouldn’t eat any food or play with any toys outside, not even in my garden! It is pretty hard to train a dog who doesn’t want reinforcement!
Along with this he is a super smart but sensitive dog so I have to be aware of this when training him.
I want to show you how I succeed with a dog who, like all my dogs, can struggle at times. I want you to see how you can have the same success with your agility dog by putting all the pieces together.
I show you the good, the bad and the ugly and combine this with my wealth of behaviour knowledge and competition experience.
Quest has just started his agility competition journey and is having great success, but the road to get him in the ring hasn’t been easy. It has involved lots of training that isn’t actually connected to agility at all. In the Academy I show you all this along with giving you the behaviour knowledge on why it is happening.
Come and join our quest and let us help you to help your team to succeed!

Quest won his first ever UKA Steeplechase run, a qualifier, meaning we will be competing in the 2024 Grand Finals!!

Katrina Bayliss
Dog Agility Behaviour Coach

We look forward to welcoming you on our Quest For Success.

“We have been training with Katrina since the first lockdown. I enrolled Kane into an online course to learn the foundational skills for agility. Once we started in-person sessions, although Kane soon learned the value of the kit, it was apparent there were other issues we needed to work on. Katrina saw that we needed to take it back, work on good, strong start lines, and getting Kane working both close to me and at a distance. The courses, online sessions, workshops, and one-to-one classes have been so helpful. Katrina’s logo says it all; it’s fitting all the pieces together.
You can’t complete the puzzle if there are pieces missing. We are still working hard and are seeing results, and we take on board all of Katrina’s hints, tips, and direction. I have now started the agility journey with my second dog, Axel. I am enrolled in the academy which is full of amazing resources to keep referring back to. Thanks to Katrina, I am really starting to understand the needs of my dogs and not comparing our journey to others. This is our jigsaw journey 🥰”
